Is it posible to allow aplication to receive shared file from another application?

with adobe air is it possible to receive a shared file?

For example, in adobe acrobat on the android, you can click share to share a pdf and a bunch of applications pop up that are able to recive that pdf file. Is it possible in air to make my application pop up as an option an receive that pdf file?
