Is there no Date field picker for Mobile

I find it strange there is no  date field chooser control for mobile..or am I missing something.

I agree.  The migration from mx to spark for this component should be on the list for Flex 5.0.  Until whatever date that is, mx work arounds, like I did, or 3rd party components are the only option.

I tested it on my Blackberry Playbook, Motorola Xoom, and Acer Iconia Tab.  Works great!  (Haven't tried it on my iPad simply because it is a pain in the A$$.:)

This is only a temporary solution until Adobe releases a spark DateField. May not be recommended.  But it gets the job done.
