Mobile Air App - Upload to App Store with another dev. account

Hello!

Which KeyChain Access Elements do I need  to create valid development and production certificates (and later on the provisioning files) on my MAC, if I am going to create IOS Apps for another company, which already has enrolled for an own Apple Developer Account.

So in other words I will have to use their IOS developer account for uploading the apps with the MAC Application Loader.

I know that I can transfer the app in iTunes Connect to their account after the app review process in iTunes. This may last up to 30 days.

Is there another way?

Best regards

David B.

Easiest would be if they give you publishing rights in the user management and add you as a dev. Else they will have to generate certs and provisioning profiles for you and use their account for uploading.

Dear rewbOrn!

Thank you so much for the answer.

This is exactly the way we do it now. They generate all of the certs and profils and upload the apps.

If they add me as a dev and give me the publishing rights in their user management, there is just one more guestion left:

Will I be able to get access to all the financial features, support features of the other dev account? They and me, we don't want that.

I kept on looking for a solution too.

Well I will try this fist, before I insist on the full rights access to their account as you mentioned.

If they export their mac id (which is linked to the dev account ) so that I can import their id in my mac user management,

if they set my rights in the dev team in the developer center to at least "Team Admin",

and if they increase my rights to "App Manager" in iTunes Connect, I should have fully access to the certs, profils, App Ids,

Apps, and all the features I need in iTunes for developing (App Management, Feedback stuff, Testing...) except financial items.

I hope this will work, and I will post the results.

Best regards

David

No they will not have to grant you universal access. Our developers also have only limited access for technical reasons, without financial insights. There are different categories for granting access in the iTunes user management menu. I am the one who is uploading the builds, so I am not 100% sure that uploading is separated from financial access, but it wouldnt make any sense. So I am pretty sure you can do what you have in mind.
