My computer won't detect AIR anymore

I tried opening an application that requires AIR to run, and before it worked fine but today I got an error message saying something like Adobe AIR is missing so I uninstalled AIR, downloaded the latest version and reinstalled it without a problem. However, when I open the application again it still acts like AIR is missing. I don't have any other programs that use Adobe AIR. Could it be something wrong with this particular program, my computer, or Adobe software?

I am using Mac OSX Yosemite v10.10.5

Hi,

It has been long since you tried but can you try mention what application were you trying to install? Also, please try out with latest Adobe AIR runtime Adobe - Adobe AIR .
