thanks a lot, one last question if you could, i was reading that air 3.0 will add support for some of the iOS api like in-app purchases, is it true, do you know anything about this?

flash pro cs5.5 would be fine, is there anywhere you could point me to how to install air 3.0 in flash cs5.5?, i bought the ipod 4g because my old 2g wasnt compatible with flash cs5.5, so does air 2.7 || 3.0 have the same device support than air 2.6?

Here's an article on how to overlay AIR 3.0 on CS5.5:

It does have the same requirements as AIR 2.6, so no real drawback to doing the overlay.

What program would you use to develop in? If it's Flash Pro CS5.5, that has the documentation for developing in AIR 2.6. You can overlay either AIR 2.7 or 3.0, if you want to get better performance.
