Question

New Download of Air killed Accuweather.com Cirrus

Steps:

1. User prompted for download of Abode Air.

2. User accepts download

3. Accuweather.com Cirrus becomes inactive (no longer reading weather)

4. User restarts computer

5. No change to Accuweather.com Cirrus

Expected: I would expect Abode Air to install and not harm other programs

Acutal: Adobe Air installed and distrupted Accuweather.com Cirrus widget so that it no longer functions.

Screenshots of error messages for Console & HTML attached.

Acceptable solutions enable Accuweather.com Cirrus widget to function as it did prior to the Adob Air download. Nothing other than Adobe Air was downloaded and/or installed during the time of the widget disruption. This is a repeatable error because this is the 2nd system on which this exact error has happened.

Ok, so I figured it out.

1. Uninstall Adobe AIR

2. Install a previous version of AIR.

This worked. So I guess I just cannot update it...ever. ??

Hi,

I'm currently investigating your issue but cannot find the Accuweather.com Cirrus AIR application. Can you please share it with me or send me the link from where i could download it?

The only weather AIR app from AccuWeather that i've found is the AccuWeahter Stratus widget http://www.accuweather.com/stratus/ which is working as expected with the latest AIR Runtime. Is there a possibility that the AccuWeather Stratus app repleaced the Cirrus app?

Regards,
