Question

new ios 8 enterprise entitlements?

I am creating an air for ios app with enterprise distribution. My app's ipa has worked great in the past until the recent ios version update. In a little research it sounds like enterprise distribution now requires a new entitlements.plist. Do anyone know how to publish an air for ios app with this entitlement?

I recently made an enterprise app, and didn't have to do any entitlement things. But, the provisioning profile has to be Distribution / In House, and I suspect needs to be based on a specific app id, not a wildcard one.

In Flash you would use that In House provisioning, and the certificate P12 would be from the Distribution certificate, not the Development certificate.

I have done quite a few enterprise apps with ota distribution. This error only just occurred with one of the latest ios updates. After updating my ipad, my ota link no longer install.

There is a less recent change. Around about 7.1.2 you started to have to use HTTPS servers. If you're using HTTP, iOS won't allow it to install. That's nothing to do with what type of account you have. Using HTTPS I've been able to do OTA installs of enterprise apps to iOS 8 devices.
