I guess I didn't buy CS5.5, I thought I did on Amazon, anyway I still don't see how to get Air for Android

You should get CS5.5 then. That's the one that has AIR for Android.

Hopefully Amazon would do some sort of refund/exchange. Failing that, you may have to spend the $120 to upgrade to CS5.5.

There are more complicated solutions to the problem, but you would probably spend more than $120 worth of your time coping with those, and they're not as easy a solution.

I don't know what changes they made since CS5 but in CS5 you could definitely create an apk as long as you had a signing certificate with a password.  You have to use the Air for Android Publish Setting.

In cs5.5 they don't give you the option to export to just .apk they make you export it to air then you can transfer to android phone. but I can't get it to work bc the android market wont take .air they only take .apk.

Flash normally exports APK, unless you have it set to AIR instead of AIR for Android.
