Older CS versions can not run on OS 10.13. Is it a 64 Bit problem?

I almost upgraded to OS 10.13 from OS 10.12 when I heard of a host of problems with third party apps.  One problem has been reported as OS 10.13 only supports 64 Bit.  This renders CS3 (used to scan into from Epson scanners) and CS4 (which does all our work great) useless and thus all our old graphic files, 42 TB on 12 hard drives.  Am I reliably informed?  Allan
