Question

Older version of AIR SDK in Animate works better than newer, why?

Does anyone know why AIR SDK version 23 in Animate can handle Apples requiremenst for <key>NSMicrophoneUsageDescription</key> but newer versions like 26 does not?

And is there a way to get info about new releases of AIR SDK in a modern, automated way rather than me going to the web to check, feels a bit ancient?

Hi,

AIR 24 introduced permissions feature, more about which can be found at Release Notes Flash Player 24 AIR 24 .

Due to the introduction of this feature user has to explicitly mention the info plist keys in the app xml under the InfoAdditions tag.

Probably this is the reason you are seeing such behavior.

Thanks,
