Paste provides "null" for s:TextInput

Hello Everyone,

So I'm working with Adobe AIR with the SDK as provided by the Flex 4.13.0 installer.  I've noticed that when I paste into a TextInput, the value on my presenter is set to a text string reading "null".  I've tried replacing it with an mx:TextInput, but that doesn't allow for pasting.  I'm using this current version of AIR because my hard drive was acting up, and I lost the old one, I believe it was the AIR sdk that comes with 4.12.0.  Anyway, any help is greatly appreciated.  I have noticed that if I type, not paste, into the TextInput, all is well.
