PLZ help with publishing to iOS 3.0

I first published an app in Oct. 2010 with Flash 5.0 on Mac.

- System required iOS 3.0

I was publishing an update to the app with Flash 5.5 on Mac

- iTunes Connect will not accept the upload because it is not backward compatiable.

- New ipa requires iOS 4.0

How can I publish with Flash 5.5 and be compatiable with iOS 3.0?

Or do I have to reinstall Flash 5.0 to publish this update?

Maybe the problem is that I did move to retina display resolution.

If I went and changed the resolution from High, back to Standard, would this make a difference?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!  For anyone with the knowledge and time to help!

Jim

Correct answer Colin Holgate

Reinstalling CS5 and making the IPA there may be the quickest solution. Disabling Retina display won't be enough, because publishing from CS5.5 requires at least iOS 4, and at least an iPhone 3GS. Your existing app most likely supports the original iPhone and 3G, so any app made with CS5.5 won't work on those.

Thank you Colin.

I realized I still had Flash 5.0 installed on a Macbook Pro.  I did the update there and submitted to apple and it was accepted.

I guess I will keep 5.0 around till I am ready to dispense with this app.

Thanks again!
