Does mx.controls.Alert; work on mobile devices?

i want to use it.

and i need it to cover the action bar.

You are supposed to use the SkinnablePopUpContainer class.

It works but it is not part of the flex mobile sdk. It is part of the flex desktop sdk. Flex desktop sdk is not optimized for use on mobile devices.

If you are using mobile sdk then you will need to implement your alert class.

I actually can't use mx.controls.Alert in my mobile flex project using flash builder 4.6

im building a ViewNavigatorApplication

am i supposed to include some library files?

The alert class is unavailable in flex mobile SDK. It is available to flex desktop SDK only.
