Possible to correctly package a universal landscape app with latest SDK?
I have a couple of universal apps on the app store. I want to update them but have refrained from doing so because of the remaining bugs in the SDK.
I am now wondering if anyone can give me some advice on this matter. Can anyone answer these questions?
For the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+, do I only require 3 new launch images to support these devices?
- Default-667h@2x.png for iPhone 6
- Default-Landscape-736h@3x.png for iPhone 6+
- Default-Portrait-736h@3x.png for iPhone 6+
Is this correct? If I package those using the latest Adobe AIR SDK (16), would these work fine on iOS 7 and 8?
Second question is more of a problem I am running into
I have tried setting the resolution to match the iPhone 6+ (2208x1242) using Flashdevelop and for some reason Flashdevelop only gives me a resolution of 2208x1164. I don't know why those pixels are missing.
Using the latest Flash CC Professional I get the same result unless I change the "fullscreen" flag in the app descriptor to false, then the resolution is correct. Of course, this is not what I want.
Does anyone know something about this? Is this a bug that I should file?
In short: setting the resolution to iPhone 6+ gives the wrong resolution (2208x1164 instead of 2208x1242) if fullscreen is set to TRUE, when testing the app in AIR.
I cannot try on an actual device since I don't have an iPhone 6 or 6+.
Any help would be awesome!
