Problem downloading adobe air

When I try to download adobe air I get a message "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator." Even though the download has been ticked in properties as 'run as administrator' and I actually ran it as adminstrator as well.  Help!
