Problem with iPad 3 resolution

Hi,

I have an app that runs on both iOS and Android devices, and I have recieved a lot of complaints about the performance on iPad 3. All other devices (3GS, 4, 4S, iPad1 and 2 and lots of Android devices) run smooth but apparently the resolution on iPad 3 is a major problem.

Is there a solution to only support high resolutions for iPhone 4 and 4s but to still use 1024x768 on iPad 3?

Thanks,

Karl

Thanks Colin, but unfortunately I need to use iOS 5.1 for some of my ANE extensions so I can't use that workaround.

Have you heard of other solutions? It would have been nice with an option to support high resolution for iPhone, but not for iPad, since it seems impossible to handle that resolution.

I don't think there are any other solutions.

What sort of ANE would demand 5.1? That's only been out a very short time, isn't there a chance that those ANEs will work under 5.0? Even if the author built the ANE under 5.1, it could be worth asking for a 5.0 version.
