Problems displaying Korean text on Android 4.2.2

Hi,

I am having problems displaying Korean text on *some* Android devices, namely a Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android 4.2.2

Here's a side by side screenshot showing the problem:

I am using AIR SDK 4.0.0 build 1628

Chinese and Japanese text shows correctly, apparently it is just an issue with Korean text.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem and/or and can point me in the right direction?
