Hi,

I'm sorry you're running into this problem with the AIR installer.  Could you try out the script I've attached to this post and let me know if it helps?

Thanks,

Chris

I am having the same problem trying to install an update with Picaboo.  I was able to ignore the failed update/install of air a few times and now it won't let me use Picaboo.  It says Air can't be found and is required.  I contacted Picaboo support and spent 2 hours with them trying to figure out with no luck.  Tried the zapper you provided, it does appear to work and lets me supposedly install air but then I get the same error when I go to open Picaboo.  If I try to install Air again it says I am not the administrator, but I am.  If I use the zapper air supposedly finishes installing again, but picaboo give the not found error again.  It was suggested I try to install TweetDeck to see what happened, it installed Air but then when I went to open TweetDeck Air could not be found.

So I don't know.

Hi Maria,

I'm sorry you've run into this.  I worked on a system earlier this week that had the same type of issues.  Very frustrating for me cause I wasn't able to solve the problem.

Could you try enabling MSI logging, then try uninstalling AIR again?  I'm curious if you can run the MSI logging applications.  On the system I worked on earlier even doing this install failed.  If you'd like, we can schedule a desktop sharing session and I can take a look, however if the MSI logging install fails then I think we might have to contact Microsoft.

Thanks,

Chris
