Question About 64 bit

In the release notes below

it says that this update includes AIR 64 bit on Mac OS X

I just want to make sure that that means that on mac computers the adobe air apps will no longer have the memory limit that they had before.

I'm also wondering if there is going to be a windows 64 bit update or if i totally missed the boat and it already occurred.
