Question

Scout not working on iOS

Having issues, Scout is no longer profiling. I can run Scout on my iPad, it sees and connects to the Scout instance on my desktop. I'm able to check/uncheck recording settings on my desktop and can successfully refresh on the iPad. However, the recording session never starts when I run my Adobe AIR app on the iPad.

I added the -sampler flag to adt and -advanced-telemetry to mxmlc. Still no connection.

Is there something I'm missing? Does it matter that I'm using an ad hoc build? I'm using AIR 20.0.0.204.

Hi.

I'm using Scout to test AIR apps (version 20 and 21) on iPad/iPhone, and haven't faced any problems. If you're not already using it you should use desktop version of Scout in combination with the Scout app that you can download on App Store.

I'm using both the desktop and iPad version of scout. The iPad instance connects to my desktop but does not log anything once I start my Adobe AIR game up. This was working fine around AIR 19 but I no longer see the session start.
