Seeing screen going black on Nexus 7

Question

I have two published apps on Android that were created using Air 3.2 captive runtime with Direct Rendering mode. On my new Nexus 7, I am seeing the screen going to black repeatedly. It comes back then backs out again. The app is still running, but the screen is blank. The apps run fine on the other devices I have tested (Kindle Fire, Galaxy Tab 10.1, Droid).

Is this a known issue and is there a simple fix?

I am also seeing this issue, although mine is very rare but its very weird when it happens. Everything goes and stays black, however the app is running and I can click on the buttons etc... It just seems that it doesnt manage to render the view.. Seeing it on Galaxy s2 running custom jb rom
