Selected Texts Darkens As I Scroll Past Bottom of Screen

Hello,

I have the same problem with Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat.  I have installed the versions released on 9/13/2011 and the problem still exists.

When I am looking at a document that has recognized text, if I select text and scroll down past the bottom of my screen, the text gradually darkens until I am no longer able to see what I am selecting.

This happens on my HP, Windows 7, 64 bit desktop, my husband's Dell, Windows 7, 64 bit laptop, and my Dell, Windows XP, 32 bit laptop.  It's very annoying, because we run a paperless law office and this makes our work much more time consuming.

Adobe admitted to me in April or June of 2011 (can't remember whether it was their first or second communication with me) that this was a "known bug" that happened "randomly."  Randomly, my ass!  It happens every time we try to select text and scroll through a document!

It does not seem to matter whether the documents have been OCR'd or converted to PDF from Word.

Any ideas from the forum members about how to eliminate this issue since Adobe doesn't seem willing to fix it?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Jenneane,

Would you mind reposting this over on the Acrobat forums?  You've reached the AIR forums here and I suspect you'll get better help over there.

Thanks,

Chris
