Socket sending error #2031

Question

I have an AIR application that's attempting to connect to a local network resource (specifically Growl over GNTP). However, I seem to randomly get errors when trying to connect to the resource. All I can see is an IOError event of type #2031. Is there any way to tell why I would be getting this error?

Thanks for your reporting. Could you please use another tool to connect to your network resouce to see if it is the AIR issue or network resouce configuration issue? If the issue still exists, please open a new bug report on this over at bugbase.adobe.com? Please include sample media, code, project or app to help us reproduce the problem. Did this occur on the desktop or mobile device? And also add a note/tag of this post link to the bug. Finally, once the bug has been added would you mind posting back with the URL so that others affected can add their votes and comments?
