sound / video stop when right click

hmmmmm.... Bad things happen when I right-click on the video playing. Sometimes the sound goes away. Other times the video goes away. Sometimes both go away. Most recently it froze firefox while the sound continued. Adobe says  the system is Linux 3.0.0-12-generic (32-bit) and the adobe version is 10.3.180.65 . I decided on this version of adobe because videos seem to run smoother with it than the versions that came later. Anyone ever experience a aimilar problem that knows the solution? If not could someone help me to figure it out how to fix it               ?
