Hi.

SoundMixer.computeSpectrum()

not output the ByteArray during play mp4 video on mobile. (android & ios)


Why not return value?

AIR 18.0.0.142

MP4 : h.264, AAC

MP4 video with AAC audio is handled by the hardware decoders. I'm not positive about this, but there is a chance that the sound doesn't pass through AIR at all.

    so iphone silence mode flv video sound plays but mp4 video mute.

    There is an audio playback mode you can use to make AIR apps honor the mute switch:

    import flash.media.AudioPlaybackMode;

    SoundMixer.audioPlaybackMode = AudioPlaybackMode.AMBIENT;
