When you are setting a StageText and try to write (Heb) the cursor are always at the left corner of the text box

and that mean that you could not select any thing or insert text not in the end ot the textbox (I have chek that  in android samsong s2 )

Thanks

Hello,

We are having the exact same bug, we tried StageText, TextInput, TextArea and all have the same bug.
also we tried the RichEditableText but it is not writing Arabic Text at all (it is mentioned in the documentation that it is not optimized for mobiles so we understand this),
but how can we edit arabic text in AdobeAir mobiles?

We are trying to develop an educational apps that will be distributed all around the Arabic countries.

please help, unless this bug is fixed we will have to rewrite our apps in different technology.

How i can up vote on this?

Hi

here is the bug https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=3537430

here is how you could reproduce it.

  var myTextField:StageText = new StageText();

                              myTextField.returnKeyLabel = ReturnKeyLabel.SEARCH;

                              myTextField.textAlign = TextFormatAlign.RIGHT;

                              myTextField.locale = "he-IL"

                              myTextField.fontSize = 18;

                              myTextField.stage = Starling.current.nativeStage;

                              myTextField.viewPort = new Rectangle(20, 100, stage.stageWidth - 100, 40);

p.s.

If any one has a better soltion for input text field that will be great.
