Stagewebview PDF from url

Hi all,

Whenever I try to load a PDF by using the stagewebview I see this gray rectangle instead of the actual PDF (see the attached screenshot). The same code has worked before but has stopped working a couple weeks ago.

I load the PDF not from the local filesystem but from a http url.


  • Same problem on Android (samsung galaxy tab) and iOS (iPad 2 iOS 5)
  • Doesn’t work on the emulator either (Mac), it works on some Windows computers
  • Loading HTML strings and http websites load with no problem
  • Works on the iPad iOS 4.3.4 but not on the iPad iOS 5

Hope anyone here can help me out with this bug.

Could you please open a new bug report about this issue at bugbase.adobe.com?  Please include sample media, code, project or app to help us reproduce the problem. Finally, once the bug has been added, would you mind posting back with the URL so that others affected can add their votes and comments?
