Hi!

I am developing a math app for children targeting iPhone 5, and I am looking into submitting it to the app store. I have never submitted an app before, I have just ben tinkering with it on my own device. I wonder if someone could shed some light on what needs to be included in terms of icons, icon sizes, launch images, AIR Application Descriptor File etc. Basically all that needs to be included to submit an iPhone 5 app to the app store.

There is much information around this subject, but I have not found any info that are published recently and that are exhaustive. I would be grateful for any tips, links or other ideas that push me in the right direction.

Best Regards,

Johan

These are all the iOS icon sizes, which does include the iPad ones you may not need:

29x29

36x36

40x40

48x48

50x50

57x57

58x58

72x72

76x76

80x80

96x96

100x100

114x114

120x120

144x144

152x152

512x512

1024x1024

You will also need splash screens, and which one depends on whether the app will also work on other iPhones or iPad. I don't think I've ever seen an app that only supported iPhone 5!

Assuming you do want it to work on iPhone5, iPhone 4 or 4S, you would have these files included:

Default.png

Default@2x.png

The Default-568h@2x.png is the one that important when it comes to supporting iPhone 5.
