Hi there,

is there any plan to support iOS9 app thinning?

App Thinning (iOS, watchOS)

slicing and on demand resources would be very helpful and would reduce dramatically the ipa size that now bundles 64 and 32 bits binaries

Are there any updates about supporting on-demand resources?

App thinning may be a bad practice for those who care about security. This post contains some fascinating insights and opinions about app thinning:

Hi all,

We had started the investigations for the feature, but unfortunately, we haven't been able to prioritize it over the other important stuff we're doing in AIR 22. We will let you know on this thread (or via release notes) if we manage to get the feature out in our upcoming major versions. Thanks for following up.

-Thanks

Hi Pahup,

Any update so far on this ? since colin said "Chris had it in his list of things they want to work on in the first half of 2016"

Not sure why this is not into priority list, its about build size

I think this would be a big plus, especially for packing universal apps. iPad apps would no longer need their separate "HD" versions.
