How do I fix this?

Every time I try to update my keyword research software I get this message: "This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."

I have tried numerous uninstalls and re-installs and still can't get it to work???

I have been trying to get an answer to this for almost a year now.

For this problme, Flash Professional CS6 has the same issue , and it provide 3 solutions,  could you access http://blogs.adobe.com/flashpro/tag/installing-air/ for reference to try resovle your problem.
