Unable to use Adobe AIR, on windows 8 Pro,

My company uses Windows 8 Pro and I have tried to download and install many of the Adobe products to no avail. I am trying to get Adobe AIR however, I recall that Adboe is not supporting this product anymore. I use a product EasyVSL a video software that requires the use of Adobe AIR. 

What can I do understanidng that the choice of my company to use a specific OS is not within my authority to change. So, what do I do next?
