Up dating Adobe Reader

About 2 weeks ago, I started get notifactions the updates were available. I click it and the message went away. Then the messages were coming 6-10 times a week. Are there really so many updates going on?

I've gotten one or two Reader update prompts recently, but they go away once I've successfully updated.  However, you should probably repost this question over on the Acrobat forums.  The experts over there can probably help you figure out what might be going wrong.
