Hi Guys, now with 2.7 released I want to update my games already in the app store... Does anyone know if I will have to go through the whole certificate/provisioning nightmare again?

If its the same app and a simple update then its rather simple you should be using the same app name, certificate and distribution profile its really just changing the app version number from lets say 1.0 to 1.1. I suggest going with something like 1.1.0 in case you plan on doing a lot of small updates.

Once you publish it once the second time is 90% easier.

Also note that you have to have support for all the devices your original release supported or you will have to publish it as a new app, like stated above.

What devices does the current app support? If it's the same ones that AIR 2.6 and 2.7 support, then I think the various files can remain the same, you would need to increase the version number. But I'm not positive.

If the old app supported iPhone 3G, and other earlier devices, then you have a much bigger problem, as you won't be allowed to update that to AIR 2.7.
