Upgrade to Windows 10 causes app to minimize

Question

I have a customer who was successfully using our app on his 2 year old Windows 7 machine for 4 months. He upgraded to Windows 10 and now whenever he starts the App it immediately minimises and appears to disappear from his screen. Doing an Alt-Tab just gives a small box and and X and it won't go full screen, half screen or any size box to view. I have a Windows 10 installation which upgraded from Windows 8 and cannot replicate the issue and no other customers have raised it.

Any thoughts/similar experience?
