Version numbering policy

Hi,

I downloaded AIR SDK 4 (AIR 4.0.0 build 1390) on december 30 on this page http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html.

At this place, I thought it was AIR 4.0.0 Final.

I was the 2014/01/30.

Trying to upload an app on itune, and after a few searches, I realize that I do not have the latest version (published on december 28 on the labs)... And that I have to download a new version of AIR Beta 4.0.0 (AIR 4.0.0 build 1619) on the labs here http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html.

Did this 2 versions really needs to have the same version number ?

Can you please give more informations about versions on your downloads page ?

And why not adding versions and builds numbers  in archives names ?
