Question

When will there be a beta of AIR 29 ?

Seems weird that the last beta was released at the end of november for AIR 28...

Will there be a AIR 29 ? (as AIR 28 creates a mess with Apple submissions)

"Combined Windows 32-bit and 64-bit AIR SDK"

Does that mean when you publish your application (embedded using animate on windows) it will create a 32bit.exe and a 64bit.exe or does the user have to set the architecture tag in the app-xml file to either

<architecture>64</architecture>

or

<architecture>32</architecture>

to choose what architecture to use?

Would be good if when you published an app a 32bit.exe and a 64bit.exe file is created.

The notes explain how to publish for 32 or 64, in animate you use that tag for either 32 or 64 output but not both. Those of us working with FB are less lucky as they need to set global var and restart FB each time ....

Don't know the answer to when AIR 29 will be around, but in terms of updates there was one on December 12th, and another on January 9th. They just went public right away.

As the public one is 5 builds later than the last labs one, hopefully some things were fixed in that time.

Thanks, I downloaded it yesterday. Hopefully Stephdidou also saw it was there.

By the way, although I saw the Flash Player 29 announcement email from Chris, I didn't see one about AIR. They often arrive around the same time.
