Because if it did, that would be amazing!

If you haven't heard of Android Wear yet, check out:

That moto 360 is damn sexy, and i'd love to be able to develop apps for it using AIR.

So i have been goofing around with android wear and flex since it launched over a year ago. Today i had some spare time and decided to play a bit more.

It looks like it works ok in a device

I also tried with a shared air time.

Although it starts and asks for AIR, it then says that there is no app to complete the request. (due to missing play store)

I believe that it is preaty easy to give 100% support to Android wear and add the needed classes from the SDK. The current problem is that although we can actually design standalone apps with Adobe Air we can distribute it.

So Adobe Air looks like it works fine on Android Wear. Will Adobe move forward supporting it? It looks like something achievable.

Used Apache Flex 4.15 AIR 20

Tested on LG Urbane

Installed via adb

That's amazing !

I didn't understand what's stooping you to distribute (with NON shared air runtime) ?
Could you please give a full tutorial to how to archive what you have done ?

I can build from Flash Pro to Google Glass ok, though there are a number of gestures that Flash doesn’t know about. Perhaps someone will do an ANE to handle the wearable device special gestures.

Cool, Colin.  Would be great if it was that easy with Android Wear also.  As long as most of the features are there.
