2018 AN, cannot import AI and PSD images, grayed out

Hello.

I am a student in the middle of taking a final for Animate.

Adobe logged me out of the CC and when I logged back in, Adobe forced the download of the new versions.

Now I cannot import an AI or a PSD image, for some reason.

I also cannot go back to the 2015 version.

I'm on a Mac.

Can someone PLEASE help me?

I am taking a final for a graduate program and have limited time.

How can I get back to the other version that worked for me?

    I was able to get some terrific and patient help from the chat support service.

    Seems with the newer version, when it opens your window where your files are has an extra button on the lower left where you choose your file type.

    With the older version, that was at the bottom of the screen in a dropdown menu.

    Anyway, I was able to download the older version too and they are both working now, just somewhat and slightly differently for importing images with different file types.

    I was going to tell you about that! For some reason that Options file type can get stuck on Ogg Vorbis.
