9-Slicing / 9 Slice - Can't seem to use more than one transform / Skew, Rotate, Transform, Flip

This issue could have been around for a while, but I can't seem to apply more than one single transform effect to my symbol. Anyone got a work-around?

I haven't used 9-slicing a lot with Animate... but I'm familiar with it in Illustrator and it definately works in there! All my apps are up-to-date 😉

 

*I learned to illustrate with Flash close to 20 years ago, so I'm very comfy with Animates drawing tools and the illustrations in the grab are all lines with gradients (no bitmaps).

    create an empty movieclip and enable 9-scale

    add your 9-scaled object to this movieclip

     

    apply a transform to the parent

    apply a transform to the child

     

    does that do what you want?
