Question

a problem with the asset wrap tool

hi, I'm looking for a help for my son. He decirbed the problem as follow:

There's a problem with the asset wrap tool. It keeps deleting colored areas when adding new points and moving existing ones. Also, when I ctrl+Z in order to try adding the point again in a different position, the point dissapears, but the deleted area does NOT appear back - in other words, ctrl+Z does not really revert an operation.
I searched Adobe Forums, and ther people appear to also have this problem, but the only "soultions" are "convert to bitmap" or "optimize the shape". None of these are usable. "Convert to bitmap" means fatal resolution and inability to ctrl+B the asset back into vectors, something I really need. "Optimize the shape" dosen't really help, and, if anything, makes the situation worse - I've tried it - plus, if the graphic gets "optimized" enoug, it looks terrible.
Restarting the computer dosen't work and I'm using the newest Animate version.

thank you for any help or advice.!!!
