Question

About "recovery" file

So i was doing an animation (im using adobe flash cc 2017), the app crashed on me ( im on windows btw).
I re-opened flash and it said if i wanted to recover the file, i said yes.
I continued to work for 5 hours on it and then hit "save". Close the app and today that file is nowhere to be found.
What is going on?
I did not rename the file or anything so the name was recovery_bla bla bla.
Is there a way to fix this/find my file?
This is getting ridiculous ( flash crashing on 2017 like ...ok?).
( the recover.swf is on my documents but no fla anywhere)

There hopefully is a file named recovery_recovery_bla bla bla somewhere. Normally when you do reopen a recovery file you should check it out carefully to see if it has your latest changes, then save it on top of the out of date original file.

But for now, look for recovery_recovery_bla bla bla. If you don't find one then your recovery_bla bla bla should be up to date.

I searched for the file, it's nowhere to be found, I found the .swf tho' but let me guess, we can't change swf to fla right?
