action script 2 in class, but cloud has is action script three

Alternative:

Since you are using AS2, you should be able to download any of the earlier trial versions to use.  Each is good for a month, so if you start with the oldest you can get a newer one each month to get you thru this class.  You just won't be able to open a file on an older version that you create on a newer one

if you have a CC subscription you can still d/l CS6 from your account. If you dont have a subscription (as its sounds like its thru your school) I dont know of any other way to do it.
