ActionScript3 . . .

Have selected an object at Frame 256 (end of animation); action then applied to said object in frame 256, but Scene 1 (Action Panel) says "object name: Frame 253" . . .

Am experiencing a motion jump prior to animation end - (frame 255 >256 after publishing); not visible in Animation runtime window . . .

Thanks in advance . . .

Hi,

Having trouble replicating your problem. What exactly is "object name". Usually code is attached to a frame in a named timeline layer. Layers and object names will not allow a space as part of the name. (Action panel should read something like "Actions: Frame 256" or Layer_1: Frame 256).

Thanks for reaching out ...

Seems like I had applied the Action to the wrong frame anyway - selecting the object in a tween & referencing the action applicable to "somewhere on that motion tween" aren't related ...

As far as the "motion jump", am thinking that it's a disconnect between the end of the motion tween's path & the "resting position" of the object ...

Have flattened the tail end of the path a bit (still a bit of a twitch when the motion ceases) ...

Here's the "Flash translated via Animate" re-do:

Thanks, again ...
