what do you mean with "the nearest" ?

nearest like pixel distance ?

loop through all the other movieclips and use pythagarus to calcualte distance

what is "sahila" if you have allready made it and you cannot see it check your library (ctrl+L) or (Windows, Library)

If you are trying to communicate with it via actionscript then i presume you have not given the moviclip a instance name?
