Activation key for access

[ACTIONSCRIPT 3]

Hi guys, how are you?

I would like to ask a question and I don't know if it's the right channel...

I have an application, and I'm looking to make it private, only for people who have an access key defined in X days.

I have a VPS online 24 hours a day so that, if necessary, I can keep a file to read valid and non-expired keys.

Could someone give me a light on how I can be starting this procedure? A tutorial, or something?

Basically, a code with X days available, which starts counting from the moment a user uses it in the application.

I am already grateful.

it's not clear what you're asking.

where are the valid keys/dates going to be stored?

if that's in your fla, code it there.  if that's on a server, use the as3 urlloader class to call a server executable that retrieves the data.

Sorry for the lack of information!

The idea is that these codes are stored on a server 24/7 (I don't know if it's possible to do without a server).

The goal is precisely for me to define keys that expire after certain days.

I assume it is rescued through a notepad or folder in a directory for example.

I would like to know how I can reach the final goal, which is for the user to use a code provided by me, and after using it, a countdown of hours/days begins to expire.

Thanks!

then use the urlloader class to call the server executable (eg, a php file) that then sends the data to animate.
