adding a short video

So i tried adding a short video about 4 seconds long.

I tried converting the video into a flv file, but that ended up not having any audio

then trying to embed a H.264 video worked, BUT the audio is out of sync and two seconds into the video, it just stops it and skips a load of frames. Not finishing the video and also skipping several frames.

This is very infuriating, i dont understand how something like this just will not work, no matter what

    Make sure your frame rate matches the video frame rate. That could be why it's out of sync and why it's skipping. Also if you have it embedded in a movieclip on the timeline. You need to make sure you have enough frames on your timeline for the video to play out.
