Adding Free Transform points in Illustrator

When you add points to a piece of art in Adobe Illustrator using the Free Transform Tool, can those points be used as joints in Adobe Animate? Thanks

Hi, no the transform points won't transfer over to Animate, don't spend time setting them up in Illustrator.

Save the file > import your assets > convert them to symbol, and only then set your transformation points in Animate.
