Adobe Animate 2024 won't open older files

I have seen information about how adobe animate 2024 is having trouble opening older files. I am escalating this, as it is a critical issue for me.

Purchase: April 2025

I can't open older files (22-23) in adobe animate 2024. Accessing these were part of my purchase decisions. What options do I have? I've tried all top level solutions - preferences, rename, restart. I cannot access WinRar due to permission issues.

Adobe - can you help me fix this unfortunate issue? Is there a patch?
