Adobe Animate Black Box on Asset Warp Tool

I am getting a large black box that appears in both preview and exports whenever I try to use the Asset Warp tool. The image looks fine before I apply the tool, yet as soon as I put one movement point on the image a larhe black box covers the entire asset.
