Adobe Animate CC 2015 does not launch

Hello everyone,

I have Adobe Animate CC 2015, for which I pay 19.99$/month. But today, after I tried to launch the program as I always do, it failed. It simply does not launch. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Nope... the same problem continues...


right click the exe>click 'run as administrator'.

if that fails:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

restart your computer and retry.

if that fails, reset your preferences - by removing,

Win:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2017\

C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2017\

Mac: 

/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Animate CC 2017/

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Animate/2017/

Thanks for your reply. But I do not exactly get what you mean by "removing". If you could explain, I would be very thankful. And also, I do not have any file that includes "2017". I only have "2015" and "Animate CC 2017".

delete or rename those folders.
